In 2026, the Lake Lure Olympiad is proud to host Run for Recovery Weekend—a meaningful gathering focused on movement, resilience, and community connection.
While we are not offering the full Olympiad or triathlon this year, these events reflect the heart of who we are and where we’re headed together.

TRY LA STRADA AT LAKE LURE
Welcome to La Strada Italian Grill In 1974, La Strada opened the first of several locations in Charlotte. Starting as a small family business specializing in NY-style brick oven pizza and traditional Italian cuisine, word quickly spread about the great food and La Strada became a Charlotte favorite. After over 30 years of serving great food in Charlotte. In 2005, La Strada and the original family members came to Lake Lure with their family recipes offering one of the most varied and unique menus in the area. There’s something special for everyone - including baked and sautéed pasta, NY-style and Sicilian pizza, Baby back ribs, Fresh seafood, Chicken, Burgers, Salads and Steak. The menu also includes a children’s section. Be sure to sample some of the delicious appetizers and signature desserts. Wine, Beer and mixed beverages are available from our Full-Service Bar.
